Screening removes noise. It cannot confirm that the person had the procedure.

Most reviews of a hair transplant are written within a fortnight of the procedure, when the patient has seen the clinic, the hotel and the transfer but not the result. They tell you about the service and nothing about the surgery. A review posted at twelve months is worth twenty of them.
The other pattern worth knowing: complaints cluster in the wrong place. Readers who are unhappy with growth tend to post on forums rather than on a clinic's own listing, so a high aggregate rating with a thin forum reputation is a combination to look into rather than dismiss.
Two things to search for by name alongside any clinic you are considering: the surgeon, and the phrase "technician". Both surface the arrangement questions that the clinics page lists.
