The honest answer starts with a correction: "full head" is a marketing phrase, not a procedure. What you can buy is limited by how much hair the back of your head can spare.
Hair is moved, not made.
A transplant relocates follicles from the back and sides of your scalp to the top. Nothing is added. So the ceiling on what any clinic can achieve is the size and density of your donor area, and for most people that is somewhere around 5,000 to 7,000 grafts over a lifetime.
Spread across an entire balding scalp, that is thinner than the hair you had at twenty. A surgeon planning well will usually concentrate it: a strong frontal third that frames the face, then whatever remains for the mid scalp, and the crown last or not at all. That is a full head in the sense that matters, and it is a different thing from the phrase in an advertisement.
